Changan Automobile Plans to Enter Europe in 2025

Changan Automobile has outlined ambitious plans to enhance its global presence by 2025. During a recent institutional survey, the company revealed several key milestones it aims to achieve in overseas markets. First, Changan will commence production at its Rayong plant in Southeast Asia, marking the official launch of its global strategy 2.0. This facility is expected to play a pivotal role in expanding Changan's footprint in the region.
Second, the company will hold a brand launch event in Europe, signaling its formal entry into the European market. This move represents a significant step in Changan's strategy to establish itself as a key player in the competitive automotive landscape of Europe. In addition, Changan plans to initiate production for its KD (Knock-Down) project in the former Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, which includes countries like Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. This project aims to enhance local manufacturing capabilities and meet regional demand.
Furthermore, Changan will establish a subsidiary in Brazil as part of its efforts to strengthen its presence in South America. This new unit will facilitate local operations and improve service delivery to Brazilian customers. Finally, the company intends to fully introduce its three brands—CHANGAN, DEEPAL, and AVATR—into the Middle East and Africa. This comprehensive brand rollout is designed to cater to diverse market needs and preferences in these regions.
