Fastener World and Taiwanese Fastener Suppliers Visit Japanese Isshin Industries and Fuji Seisakusho

On Nov. 20, Fastener World and Taiwanese fastener manufacturers visited Isshin Industries and Fuji Seisakusho, the final stops of their business visit to Japanese companies and factories. Japanese businesses have always been famous for their strict management system and staff service attitude, but outsiders seldom have the opportunity to visit their factories to see the full picture. This time, two Japanese precision metal processing companies (Isshin Industries and Fuji Seisakusho), which have been deeply rooted in Japan for years, provide the Taiwanese delegation with a rare opportunity to observe the internal operation of the Japanese precision industry and understand the general overview of the supply chain of precision parts in Japan.
The first factory visited was Isshin Industries in Yao, Osaka, which specializes in the machining of precision parts for agricultural machinery and equipment, and is mainly engaged in customized order production based on customer drawings. During the visit, Isshin Industries' reps also briefed the delegation members and showed several professional high-precision machining centers and automated CNC equipment, demonstrating that the Japanese machining factory pays extra attention to the precision of its products and requirements.
The second company visited was Fuji Seisakusho in Higashi-Osaka, Osaka, which specializes in the production of nuts. The factory has introduced the “5S management” system to fully improve and manage the entire production process.
Although the scale and capacity of these two Japanese metal processing factories are not as large as many of the large fastener factories in Taiwan, they continue to gain customer recognition in the marketplace through innovative product design, superior precision machining technology, and a strict “5S” management system.
Some members of the Taiwan delegation said that the visit to Japanese companies over the past 3 days was quite fulfilling, and they saw the different operation modes and advantages of the Japanese large-scale fastener distributor and small-scale metal parts processing factories, which is believed to be of great reference value for the improvement and refinement of their management mode in the future.
